BELONG

“EVERYONE wants a deeper conversation – you just need to give them permission”

Charles Duhigg
, author of Supercommunicators

Here it is: an intimate dinner that deploys deep questions and ‘reciprocal authenticity’ (Charles’s term) so that you can float home feeling accepted, inspired, and with some lovely new friendships to boot.

  • Tues 26 March, 7 - 10pm

(FR/EN) 43€ inc food & wine, La Panza Gardette (11e)

    Book your seat

I’ll be honest: I simply created the event that I wish existed when I first moved to Paris. Networking events always leave me somewhat empty, and I yearned for that “dinner parties with dear friends” feeling.

But, er, don’t you need to have the dear friends before you can have the delightful dinner parties? I’ve proven that it also works in reverse, if you have the right questions at hand (aka the shortcuts to meaningful connection).

I’ve tried and tested my custom set with people from all corners of the globe (truly: I ran an online experiment with total strangers). Join us for a glass of wine, some delicious Brazilian food, and find out what it’s all about.

BE

“If it costs you your peace, it’s too expensive”

What small change can you make to bring more peace into your daily life?

GO

Each week, a place to pop into or base a little exploration around.

Jardin des Rosiers Joseph-Migneret

When you just need a little reprieve, from the tourists / street noise / world in general. A hidden garden gem in the middle of the Marais, tucked behind tall wooden doors on rue des Rosiers, or accessible by the back of a courtyard on rue Francs-Bourgeois.

While you’re there: Pop into Smith & Son Marais, a tiny English-language bookstore with a fab array of all the magazines you can’t find elsewhere.

DO

My goal is to help you have the richest, deepest possible experience of Paris and all its intellectual and artistic treasures.

Our exacting curation spans creativity talks, philosophical discussions, sustainability sessions, sensory experiences, innovation workshops, dance classes, intimate gigs - in short, a wide range of opportunities to stimulate your body, mind and soul.

No tourist fare to be found here: The events are drawn from local institutions (or are hosted by residents), and are primarily free or at minimal cost.

la Course des cafés

30 events this week!

It’s a big week, with a solid array of interesting talks, and a jam-packed weekend. The agenda includes:

  • Wed 20

MASTERCLASS: Neige noire with Olivier Laban-Mattei, 2.30pm

(FR) Free, La Gaîté Lyrique (3e)

(EN) 55€, Ground to Grow (3e)

  • Sun 24
