The Paris Chapter: 29 April - 5 May
Free museums, meet the curators, film director Q&As, Nollywood, art & writing workshops, dance performances, plenty of networking opportunities and more.
I don’t have the words I wanted this week, my mind hostage to a seasonal maladie with a schedule that shan’t be swayed (my apologies for the late delivery also).
In lieu, may I present you with my all-time favourite magazine piece: Rich Cohen’s seminal profile of Jerry Weintraub, the man who took Elvis on the road, Sinatra out of retirement, and brought the Ocean’s 11 revival into being.
It’s no understatement to say the article changed my life: inspiring me to dare more greatly, say yes before having a plan, do things solely for the story, to “live and live and live”. Sometimes we can’t see the path - one off the beaten track - until others forge it for us.
In this edition:
BE - a question or quote to help you live deeper
DO - three Paris event recommendations for the week ahead
Additionally, for premium subscribersEXPAND - the full line-up of events (30 this week)
Each week, I read scores of Paris event listings to find the most interesting ones for you to enjoy.
