It’s been near a year of mapping Paris’s most interesting events, and I’ve learned that there’s a distinct ebb and flow. Some weeks are flooded with possibility, others are subdued, sometimes with evident reason - August everyone is out in the sun, January no one wants to go outside - others with no apparent cause.
What you’ll never find in The Paris Chapter, either way, is filler. Each event in the curation is one that piques my interest and that I’d possibly attend. Those interests are eclectic, yes - you can learn more about their range here - but to me that’s one of the joys of living in a bustling, creative city: that I can have the opportunity to explore different sides of myself, to nurture needs and desires that have only just begun to speak.
